Privacy and temporary media
Where your media goes
In this release, files are opened with your browser file picker, processed in session memory via WebAssembly and offered as local downloads. They are not sent to the website server. We do not use a permanent media database, IndexedDB or origin-private filesystem for these tools.
Microphone, webcam and screen recording
The browser asks for permission when you select Start. Recording streams are limited to this browser tab and are stopped when you press Stop/Reset or leave the page, subject to browser behaviour. Recorded chunks and downloadable results are kept in tab memory; we do not receive camera, microphone or screen recordings. Device/browser controls and system indicators may vary. Screen recording does not intentionally capture system audio in this implementation.
Deletion
Reset/Delete releases object URLs and terminates the worker holding temporary virtual files. Closing or reloading the tab normally releases session memory, but browser shutdown and memory reclamation are not guaranteed at any specific instant. Downloaded files remain under your control.
Other storage and requests
A local preference remembers light/dark theme; it does not store media. Your browser retrieves the website and media-engine files from this host, so standard web hosting logs may contain IP address, request path, time and user agent. No media filenames or contents are intentionally transmitted by the application.
Third parties
There is no ad network or analytics SDK activated. Ko-fi is an optional external link; visiting it has its own terms.
